Arbequina olive, which gives rise to the extra virgin olive oil Esencia Suprem, is characterized by its small size and its aroma and fruity smell, making your oil in one of the most exquisite and essential in the Mediterranean diet. Originally from Palestine, is believed that it was introduced into the Iberian Peninsula by the Duke of Medinaceli in the 17th century, taking its name from the Castle of Arbeca in te comarca of Les Garrigues (Lleida), where the Duke lived.

The aberquina olives, carefully selected by Agro-Flix-Jové, gives Esencia Suprem of some aromas and fruity with special characteristics, making it a high-quality oil, appreciated and valued by all who know him.

Its quality makes it suitable for the most demanding palates, both taking crude oil (salads, toast), as cooked, making it one of the best edible oils, not only because of its culinary and organoleptic characteristics, but also for its high content in vitamins (A, D, E, F, I, K), antioxidants (polyphenols and Orthodiphenols) and by its content of monounsaturated fatty lipids that favour the reduction of bad cholesterol (LDL), as well as prevent heart disease and facilitate digestion, allowing to follow a healthy and balanced diet, being the extra-virgin olive oil one of the main ingredients of the Mediterranean diet.

The fruity aromas of our extra virgin arbequina olive oil provide notes of almonds, walnuts, tomatoes and herbs. On the palate is presented as a soft, dense and balanced oil. The subtlety of mild spicy and bitter touches of arbequina of Les Garrigues present it as an elegant and balanced oil.

The average acidity of Esencia Suprem oil produced by Agro-Flix-Jové is less than 0.2°, synonymous of fresh fruit produced in optimal conditions throughout the process.

Its preparation

The cultivation of olive trees, their harvest and the entire process is almost all handmade. It begins in autumn with the selection of the olives, when they are at their optimum point of ripeness. We carefully inspect the olive trees, choosing only those olives that are in perfect condition; it's essential to ensure the quality of our oil.

Fruit collection is performed manually and with umbrella system, directly from the tree, so that the olives never touches the ground. They are immediately transported, so that fresh olives in a few hours already in the warehouse, and its processing is initiated before 24 hours have elapsed since its collection.

Once in the warehouse, the olives should be washed and all possible branches, leaves, dust and impurities are removed.

The process continues at the mill, where the olives are ground at low temperatures to preserve its property and ensure its best quality.

From the obtained mass, consisting of oil, water, olive pits and flesh, is extracted the oil by churning and centrifuging systems in which, by density difference, oil, macro and alpechin are perfectly separated. To ensure the quality of the oil and keep their properties, this process is always performed at a temperature below 30 C.

Finally, the oil obtained is filtered to remove any traces of impurities and moisture, and is stored in optimal conditions of light and temperature, so that it reaches the consumer retains all its qualities..

It is a 100% natural product, a fruit juice, directly obtained by extraction in cold for olive 100% arbequina and only by means of mechanical procedures in conditions that do not produce any kind of alteration of the biological and organoleptic properties, without any manipulation or chemical procedures.

Esencia Supem is a extra quality virgin olive oil, own production, unmixed with other olives.
